The Chamber runs a roughly $325,000 annual tourism and visitor services program, which is funded by the Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID), the County of Santa Barbara and the City of Goleta.  The City of Goleta funds $150,000 per year, $25,000 of which is focused on Old Town Goleta.  Last year in May, the Council approved 1-year contracts with all of the Goleta non-profits who receive funding under a category called “Support to Other Agencies”.  Council directed a committee to bring back recommendations for guidelines on contracts, length of contracts and process improvements.

The following attachments are from the City grants committee deliberation about working with non-profits in the City.
